On the 4th of October 2014 I facilitated the
Dramatherapy Skills Training Workshop Module 2: The Hero’s Journey. This time
all the participants were women with backgrounds varied from dancers, trainers,
dramatists, lecturers/teachers and an energy healer.
As always, I had a great time facilitating and watching the participants explore and express their amazing creativity, learn more about themselves while acquiring the techniques and adapt them to use in their various in their respective work situations. And as always my understanding and learning on Dramatherapy (and mySelf) deepens every time I share it with others.
I had two lovely students, Vava and Ilyani, majoring in
Clinical Psychology from University of Sultan Idris, Perak and my good friend, Liz, who is a trainer who
helped me during the workshop. Their
assistance was very much appreciated.
These are some of the
comments/feedback received from the participants:
“An enjoyable session
where you feel free and safe to explore, create and let your inner child, while
learning to use techniques to help and bring the best out of everyone.” Judimar
Hernandez , Dance & Drama Teacher.
“The Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey concept was an eye opener and very revealing”. Pat Chan, Lecturer
“It allowed my creative juices and sharing energy with
others” – Suguna, Teacher.

them insights and learning into themselves.” – Gillian Valerie Chong.
I am planning to do more workshops in Dramatherapy/Creative Arts Therapy Skills
Training Techniques and also Personal Development in the near future. If you
have any interest in attending these, I would like to request your opinion on any topics/areas would
you like me to cover for my next workshop.
